**BEWARE**
If I could give this place 0 stars I would!!!
Do yourself a favor and read the reviews before stepping foot in this place. I wish I had.
I came in because of a free pass promotion advertised on their website. I had no intention of signing up that day. While I was there, I was pressured into a membership because of a "once only promotion" by an employee named Patrick Dent, who explicitly told me that if the gym didn’t work out, I could come back, cancel, and get some of my money back—even after paying first and last month upfront.
That was not true.
I came in on Saturday (April 4) to cancel—what I was told was well within my allowed timeframe—and was told cancellations are only handled Monday through Friday. So I came back Monday, only to be told I now get NOTHING back because of a three-day cancellation policy. (Mind you my third day was Saturday when I came in)
Here’s the problem:
- I was told I had over a week to cancel
- I showed up within that timeframe
- I was blocked from canceling because of their schedule
- Then denied a refund based on a policy I was never properly told about
After going back and reading the agreement myself, yes, there is a three-day cancellation clause buried in the fine print. So why was I told something completely different? Why was I told I had over a week? That misinformation is the ONLY reason I signed up.
AS OF TODAY (and I have printed documented proof), nowhere—NOT in the agreement, NOT on the website, NOT verbally—does it say cancellations are restricted to Monday through Friday. Had I been allowed to cancel when I showed up on Saturday, I would have been within the three-day window. Instead, I was effectively blocked and then penalized for it.
And the customer service? Absolutely unacceptable. The girl at the front desk (blonde hair, tattoos) was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. No accountability, no willingness to help—just attitude. After reading other reviews, I’m honestly shocked she’s still working there. That level of disrespect should not be tolerated anywhere.
After reading through other reviews, it’s clear this is not an isolated situation. There is a pattern here.
This whole experience feels deceptive from start to finish.
I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and taking this further.
If you’re considering signing up here—don’t rely on anything they tell you verbally. Get everything in writing, or better yet, go somewhere else.
P.S. for the amount or scams this place goes through with, and money they essentially steal, you would think they could hire a janitor. This place is absolutely filthy.
I have been going to UFC FIT Puyallup since June 2022, pretty close to when it opened. It used to be a great place to work out and had great amenities, however, it has really gone down the hill.
When I go in there now, the staff tend to be unfriendly and unhelpful. The equipment often takes weeks to get repaired when broken.
To top it all off, the gym is downright disgusting; dirt, debris, mold, stains, and fluids are just everywhere. I hardly ever see any custodial staff, and when I do, they are having little, if any, impact in sanitation and cleanliness.
A gym of this size and price should have multiple well-paid custodians working around the clock, cleaning every piece of equipment, cleaning all the floors, walls, showers, toilets, sinks, etc. every single day. It is an embarrassing excuse of a gym.
What the gym isn't lacking is sales and trainers, who are more than happy to take your money. I was told by another member that he was told by a trainer that if he couldn't afford personal training, he should look into remortgaging his house.
It is very clear that this place only cares about making money and not about providing a great gym experience.
I have sent an email about these complaints with no response or improvement.
Listen to the other reviews, they keep on replying and saying they value the feedback, but clearly do not when nothing has changed.

I love this gym. The boxing and kickboxing classes are great. There have personable staff and a wide diversity of people working out. It can get crowded if you go right after work so plan ahead.

Straight to the point -
During my time of visit here, each part of the gym was clean.
The staff members - Every time I visited the gym, there were only male staff members working on those days. The male staff members that interacted and communicated with me, were all nice/ professional/ maintained eye contact during the whole interaction [ which is a very good thing and is professional :) ] / chill/ cool/ friendly/ funny and helpful. I called this gym on Friday March 27th around 10:00 ish and Kirsten ( UFC fit female staff member ) picked up the phone call, she was alright.
This gym is decent (fair) and provides decent ( fair ) benefits such as, clean pool, sauna, group fitness ( for example killer cycle ) , boxing & kickboxing, HIIT [ High Intensity Interval Training ] & conditioning, kids club, BJJ [ Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ], etc.
