They got me in same day I called. A crown came off. They were friendly professional and did a great job! I am making them my new dentist!

Writing I went to Gentle Dental in Puyallup and it was the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. Mind you, I haven’t been to the dentist in quite some time. I lost a couple of teeth coming back from Iraq, and I decided it was time to finally start a plan to get my dental issues solved. At the first appointment they decided on a deep cleaning and working on cavities on the right side. I sat in the chair for over two hours. During that time the doctor was working on at least three other patients at the same time. I have never seen that before. The nurse, Daniela, was the worst part of the experience. At one point it honestly felt like a Jekyll and Hyde routine. She went from being nice to acting in a way that felt like she was trying to physically hurt me. Water kept building up in my mouth and throat while I was laying back and I couldn’t breathe and was choking. She also seemingly knocked my teeth very hard with a tool at one point and didn’t apologize or even acknowledge it. The doctor at one point was calling for her to come help because she had left the room and he had to try to do things by himself. The whole place felt very disorganized. Dare I say it felt ghetto. It did not feel professional and I even felt kind of targeted. It was very strange. Then I paid about $400 out of pocket and my teeth now look different. They worked on one of my canines and I know exactly how my teeth look. My right canine now looks dull compared to my other teeth. It’s rough and was not polished properly. I can literally feel it and could cut my tongue just gliding it across my teeth. When I pointed out that my canine teeth no longer match, they tried to gaslight me and tell me nothing was wrong. As far as I can tell, they seem more interested in getting as many people in the chairs as possible at the same time and billing as much as they can. The whole place felt like a dental chop shop. I felt more like a piece of equipment than a person sitting in that chair. “Do no harm” did not feel like it was there. The only good thing I got out of this experience was insight moving forward. One practical thing about reviews: when they include concrete details—time in the chair, names, specific dental work, what it cost, and what physically changed—they tend to carry more weight with both readers and the business responding. The specifics anchor the story in reality.
