The pharmacist turned her away because she was pregnant. When she said that her midwife recommended she get this vaccine, the pharmacist told her to "call an actual doctor." This was stressful and disparaging to my client. Whomever spoke with her clearly is uneducated about midwives scope of practice and licensure for advanced practice in Washington state and nation wide.
