For years, our patients have developed a trusting relationship with Dr. Andrea VanCleave, our pediatric dentist in Olympia, Washington, who also provides care to those in the surrounding cities of Lacey, Yelm, Rainier, Tenino, Tumwater, Shelton, Rochester, Hawks Prairie, Centralia, and Dupont. Mothers especially can relate, since our pediatric dentist is a mother herself. Prior to being a dentist, she was a preschool teacher, and has received extensive training to work with children. In our dental rooms, we love to have parents with patients to foster trust and help little ones feel safe and comfortable. Our fun environment makes it so our patients do not even want to leave. All the dentists and assistants were so very helpful, not only to keep one entertained while I was helping the other through the appointment or listening to the care plan from the dentist. I was so grateful for their abilities to help my boys, they made them feel so welcomed and they trusted their abilities, which is everything to me. The play area on the front in a total plus too!

My daughter is sensory sensitive, and they are able to clean, examine, and polish her teeth so quickly. They are compassionate and truly care about her comfort. They listen to concerns and questions and have always respected my choices. I’m so glad I found them. The play area is amazing and so good for little ones to decompress before and after being seen.

Dr. Sophia and her assistant are always so kind, patient, and welcoming—especially with my daughter, which means everything to us. The doctor who performed my toddler’s lip and tongue tie procedure was also gentle and caring. The office itself is spacious, warm, and very kid-friendly with a great waiting area to keep little ones entertained. We’ve already recommended this office to family and friends and will continue to do so. Highly recommend!
