  We have been using Home Instead in-home care for our mother for about the past year and a half, and I am thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service they provide. The caregivers have consistently shown kindness, patience, respect, compassion, and professionalism. They really care for our mother and provide her with wonderful personal care and companionship, assisting with meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing, and even going for walks and outings. The caregivers proactive approach in directly communicating with us, whether to address challenging situations, share positive updates or photos of our mother has been greatly appreciated. The impact on our mother's quality of life, (and ours) has been positive since we started using Home Instead. Their services have allowed her to remain in the home she worked so hard to maintain throughout her life, giving us immense peace of mind! A special mention must be made for Karissa, who is the true rock star/ hero at Home Instead. Her dedication and commitment are beyond commendable. We often feel as though we are her only clients, given the exceptional attention she provides, even though we know she has many others. Karissa genuinely has our best interests at heart and goes above and beyond in every aspect of her role. Karissa puts significant effort into planning, ensuring that the caregivers are a perfect fit for our mother, managing the schedule, handling scheduling changes, and being mindful of costs and overtime. Day or night her response is immediate responsiveness, whether it's to answer a quick question, address an emergency, or accommodate a schedule change. Karissa's ability to consult with us and find solutions while keeping the bigger picture and costs in mind is truly remarkable. We know she is Juggling many families including her own but we wish we could clone her! We highly recommend Home Instead and are truly grateful for their support.

  Home Instead in Mountlake Terrace is the reason my dad is doing so well after a fall. Their response to our short-notice need was immediate - we had care in place within 24 hours! The owner, Bruce, obviously cares about families. Lynn, the intake person who came out, was a delight. The caregivers assigned to us were excellent. Timely, attentive, kind, personable and focused on providing care. These folks' hearts are in the right place and we're so very glad they were there in our time of need. We will definitely use them again if the need arises.

  I have used Home Instead Senior Care services several times for my 91 year old Mom. I found their services to be very professional. I appreciated that they listened carefully to my needs for my Mom and sent a caregiver that was a good match for her. Patricia, our last caregiver, was prompt, sensitive to my Moms needs, a good listener and quick to execute the list of tasks provided. I would highly recommend using their services.
