My experience has been: great people, but clumsy flawed system, and the options are severely limited because of politics, business, and lack of money/ healthcare. I have to go online and ask the app to refill my script after my Dr. Sends it in. The app is garbage, why should I have to tell Safeway to fill my scripts?? Just fill em after my doc sends em! Don't make me hunt them down in a system I don't use and then stand in line for an hour to wait another half hour to fill it? Bonkers!!!!
My loyalty is driven purely by the fact that the generics they use for my one and only daily meds happen to work well for me.
It sucks... All over. For everyone.
Welcome to the machine....

Hopefully they can hire more staff soon! Used to love picking up prescriptions at a place where I already have to go to get groceries. However, ever since Rite Aid closed, you have to wait at least 30 min in line for pick up. I've had to leave the line multiple times because of time constraints and that's not including the times that I see the line and decide to try again another day. Hopefully whoever takes over at the Rite Aid location will have a pharmacy to relieve some of the pressure at this location.

They make you wait for forever and after you wait in 40 min lines. They tell you to get that medication over the counter

The pharmacy staff answering the phone today was very rude and curt. She sounded annoyed answering my questions, then proceeded to end the call after I said “thank you, but.” I not a native English speaker and was sick so I needed more time to get my full message across. So, that is why just 1 star.

I have been member with Safeway since 2010 and this Safeway pharmacy brand is rude and a nightmare. Their staffs didn’t care and have a very bad attitude to customers who need help.
I went to drop off my son prescription and a day later I still haven’t heard anything from them. I called and the lady who picked up the phone was like in a very demanding tone. I asked her about my prescription and she told me they don’t have it on file to refill. I questioned her that how come you guys don’t even call and let me know so I can contact the doctor to figure out what’s going on. If you don’t let me than how do I know to contact the doctor office. She said they don’t call customers. I said that wasn’t true. Other Pharmacy brand also calls customers when things come up. She just like “ that’s my problem not her.” Okay, if you takes the job where people comes to you for help and that’s how you treat customers. She should quit and go somewhere else. This was my second time having problems with this pharmacy brand. The other time they wasn’t have enough pill for my prescription and again no phone call until 3 days later I have to call in to find out what was going on. I called the brand manager and that was it for me. I transferred my prescription to RideAid which have a lot of care to their patients. If you ever wondered about moving your prescription to this brand. Please don’t.

Why is reviewing my Medicare plan every year important?
Reviewing your Medicare plan every year is important because Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D) can change annually. These changes may affect your coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and provider network. By reviewing your plan during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, you can ensure it still meets your healthcare needs and budget—and switch plans if necessary.
