Honestly this pharmacy is fabulous. My parents go here- I manage their meds and thus their refills, and this pharmacy is always timely, kind, and super helpful. And when I call it’s not an infinite hold, the pharmacist always answers all my questions, and the staff seems happy. This place is a ten.

Very professional in all they do. AJ and other pharmacists give thoughtful and practical responses to questions, advice is given from solid knowledge base, and genuine attention to complexities are masterfully approached. These are the marks of intelligent and safe care/ but if you are looking for instant and a mindless approach to your pharmaceutical needs go somewhere else. The front clerks are as good as can be- courteous, thorough, detailed, and friendly. All together, they make a reliably well run gem of a pharmacy that truly serves the community.

Older Asian lady at the pharmacy front desk is very incompetent and rude! This is the second time I have had an unpleasant experience with her. The first time was when I had my COVID booster. I made an appointment online and filled out my information. I forgot to take my physical vaccination card but I had a virtual card in my phone wallet. She still refused to accept that and I had to go back home to retrieve it. Today, while in line for my flu shot, I saw the same lady accept a virtual vaccination card. When I got to the counter, the first she asked was if I had an appointment. And when I said no and enquirer about walk ins as stated on the website. She was quite rude and dismissive and said that I make an appointment and come back. I would give zero stars if I could. I just made an appointment for Fred Meyer pharmacy, and It was a lot more convenient.

I would personally only use this pharmacy for prescriptions you're going to walk in and hand to them, and wait around to get filled. They're very good at that.
Every time I've needed to call in a refill, though, the refill is somehow never ready when I go in to get it. Even if it's days later. This last time, the medication I needed refilled was unavailable because it was on backorder at the wholesaler they get it from. That would have been fine, but they didn't bother to call me or notify me in any way. I just went in like a week later and that's when they told me it was unavailable. To their credit they checked to see if a different wholesaler had it available and tried to order it through there, but again didn't bother to contact me to tell me it wasn't available. They happened to have a small quantity of it on hand and filled that for me, but after years of other constant inconveniences (some of which I'd been charitably blaming on the doctor's office, since we'd had trouble with other pharmacies interacting with that office; but some of them continued after switching) I'll be changing to a different pharmacy. Sucks, since I work very close and it's convenient, but in the future I'll just stick to filling one-time scrips from doctor visits here.
It is very clear just from being in this Safeway often that the staff here are overworked and don't have time to do everything they should and this clearly extends to the pharmacy.

Had great experiences with this pharmacy! They have been great about communication and filling prescriptions as quick as they can. When they are busy they will tell you and are pretty accurate about the time to come back. They have a few nice features like automatic renewal and texts that let you know when its time to refill and when its filled. The only problem i have is the wait they usually have a long line to get prescriptions at rush hour and you can be in line for a bit.
