This pharmacy was the rudest and most unhelpful group of people I have ever seen. Absolutely callous and uncaring uncustomer-centric attitude. Easy to see why the reviews are so bad.

The Pharmacist was unhelpful and rude. My mom had scheduled 2 appointments for flu shots at 7:00. There were 2 appointments available at 6:30. To make it easier on the pharmacist, my family of 4 has always gone in and got our flu shots together at the same time for the last 10 years. The total time it takes for the pharmacist to administer all the shots takes 60 seconds. We went in for the 7pm appointments 20 minutes early. The pharmacist refused to give more than the two appointments even though they say they take walk-ins and we were all together. We told her it would be so quick and we’ve been doing the responsible thing as a family for the past 10 years. The pharmacist continued to whine that she just couldn’t do it because she was alone (there was another guy working with her, there were no other customers, and the two 6:30 appointments were not filled). The pharmacist proceeded to roll her eyes at my mom and continue to carry on making excuses. We all left because we didn’t feel like we could trust the pharmacist giving the two shots and we were so disgusted with her unwillingness to be helpful or friendly. After getting our flu shots at Safeway for the past 10 years this experience has made me not want to go back. I plan on switching to get shots and prescriptions at a different pharmacy.

Bella and Leah from Safeway in Lynden, WA were super helpful in filling my prescription Friday last week. Being an out of towner, Bella who’s very knowledgeable went out of her way to assist me with the meds that I needed. The 2 ladies are the opposite of the Pharmacist from Safeway Issaquah who drove me away and told me to go to dr rx online as his price wb expensive; he couldn’t even give me a price which I asked few times. Safeway should be really proud of Bella and Leah as they were super helpful and compassionate, attributes which define how Pharmacy staff’s demeanour should be. They are definitely great assets to the Safeway organization. Many thanks to Bella and Leah, kudos to you both🙏👏
