- DHdouglas hanerJan 29, 20265.0Broke the Bridge of my only pair of glasses. Causing me to miss work. Was afraid of how many days work I might miss as I can't see well enough to work without seeing. Looked for a same day optometrist and found none. I did however see that Capitol Eyes did repairs. Good conversation with the owner. Fair price for soldering of the bridge that will be refunded when I buy a new pair. Will return for all my needs.

She soldered the spring hinge on my glasses within 10 minutes, and I was surprised at how incredibly affordable it was.! She also explained why the part probably broke and how to properly care for my glasses. As a bonus I was greeted by her sweet dog, Bing-the best boy ever. Relaxed and professional atmosphere with friendly conversation. Go to McKenzie, you will not be disappointed!

I've had the same style of frames for the last 20+ years and she convinced me to try a different style. I trusted her to take the risk. A month later, I'm very happy that I did. This style is my new style and they're SO COMFORTABLE. She knows what she's talking about and is very good at what she does. She also convinced me to stop cleaning my glasses with my shirt, which I absolutely totally have not done by accident a few times.
