  I have been a patient for many years. However, the level of customer service has severity decreased over this last year! There is a lack of appropriate follow-up and follow through when information needs to be submitted and obtained from insurance companies . Months of delay. The office does not keep the patient informed about these delays and has caused critical treatment to be missed. Required information was not sent to insurance companies needed to make vital decisions for the patient. I had to intervene and escalate issues getting a much quicker response than the office At the 11th hour. Due to their lack of communication I loss the ability to use my dental benefits for the year. Dr. Kim has a mistrust of insurance companies And was doubtful of their ability to pay insurance claims for the customer. This carries no merit as both insurance companies sent the office information on Amounts to be paid on behalf of the customer. Additionally, the office is extremely inflexible on payment plans. Finally, the Office Receptionist/administrator is extremely overwhelmed with the workload and lack the ability to effectively handle A patient’s inquiries and follow through on necessary services. Many times when you call the office Although open the call will go to voicemail to leave a message and you don’t know when you’ll be called back. It’s a very frustrating experience.. I decided to leave this facility and requested my medical records. The office manager Asked me for my email address and hung up on me. The office has sent me receipt receipts through email so they have my email address she didn’t need to ask. This woman is temperamental and should not be serving the public. Her name is “Paige.” Since her arrival, in my opinion, the services are extremely poor. As I type this review, I still have not received access to my records. I do not recommend this Dental office as they lack the ability to provide optimal customer service and have a difficult time, taking ownership and responsibility for their mishaps. I was told it is not their responsibility to follow up with insurance companies due to long wait times .( news to me) …they use a third-party to submit patient’s information. They don’t have a pulse on this third party that has sent information to my insurance company to wrong address. Mismanagement causing further delays.

  I needed a crown and filling in the same appointment and I wouldn’t trust anyone more than the team at Jen Kim. The Doctor, Crystal and Maddie were amazing and made me feel at ease and took awesome care of me. I would definitely recommend this office for all of your dental needs.

  My family and I have been patients of Dr. Kim since her practice opened, way back when the apartments and retail were first being added to the Juanita Village complex. We have been satisfied with her ever since and are so happy to see her practice grow and grow.
