I love working out at Alloy Training Juanita, Kirkland and that is amazing! I started going to pop up classes and since September have been going three times a week. I am a complete exercise novice and I’m 67 so not a youngster. I have found the training to be challenging but doable. All the trainers are excellent at explaining the mechanics of each exercise and encouraging you in the level you are at. If you are new to having an exercise routine or want to pump up your current routine, Alloy Training is a great place to be.

I absolutely love going to Alloy Gym! The environment is supportive, motivating, and focused on doing things the right way. I really appreciate the accountability and the attention to proper form — it gives me confidence that I’m training safely and effectively. Coach Kelsey is fantastic! She brings great energy to every session, takes time to warm us up properly, walks us through each exercise, and makes sure we’re doing them correctly throughout the workout. She’s very encouraging and positive, and always keeps us motivated. I always feel supported and inspired to push myself in the best way. Eli, the director, also does an excellent job creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to my three training sessions every week — it’s truly one of the best parts of my routine!

I spoke with one of personal trainers at the Kirkland half marathon in May. I was interested enough that I signed up to get more information. I started running a few days a week a little over 2 years ago, and wanted to add strength training. The coaches have been excellent, showing interest in helping me accomplish my fitness goals. I've been doing a couple of sessions a week over the summer and I love it. The workouts are great, well balanced and focused on the whole body. They are always different and interesting. It's nice having immediate feedback on technique, especially when I'm doing a new activity.

I've attended a few pop-up workouts that are being held prior to the grand opening and am really enjoying the format of the workouts. The workouts last for about an hour, starting off with some warmup exercises, then a structured workout doing six different full body exercises for a certain number of reps/sets. It's really nice that modifications are provided for different ability levels. The personal trainer Eli is great, he circulates around the gym giving personal attention to each person, making sure they are doing the exercises in the correct position and providing encouragement. I'm very pleased that the exercises are low impact. They are very challenging and I feel like I'm getting a great workout, but I don't feel like I'm hurting my joints. The last part of the workout is about 5 minutes of in place aerobic exercises and then a cool down. It's a great environment and I feel very supported and motivated to continue working out.

I’ve had the chance to join Alloy’s pop-up classes in Juanita before their official opening. The classes are capped at six people, so you get nearly the feel of personal training but at about half the price. It’s a great workout, and I’m excited for the grand opening so I can get on a consistent schedule and really focus on building muscle. What I love most is that it’s welcoming to all ages, men and women alike, which makes for a supportive and motivating environment. Elias, the director of training, is excellent—not only as a trainer but also in how he runs the facility. You can tell he truly cares about the members’ progress and the overall experience.
