This is one of the worst pharmacies I have dealt with in all of my years moving around. I tend to stay with Safeway pharmacies because they have my record on file. Some have been bad, some have been okay, some have been great. This location has been terrible. 1. They frequently dont have enough inventory to support their customer need base. I have been told verbatim that, "we order every month based on our current clients, if we get a new customer that needs the same medication, what would have gone to you our existing customer, goes to the new person." I think this is ridiculous and has caused me to miss my medications when they are very important to be taken on time and are highly regulated. 2. They require I call before coming to get my medication but every time I call they act like its an inconvenience and about half of the time they provide the wrong information, i.e., we have it/we dont have it. Again, sometimes they have it when I call and by the time I get there they gave it away to someone else because they had not finished filling it under my name specifically, despite my calling ahead. 3. They are always understaffed. I have been going here for a little over two years now and I have heard this excuse, every. single. time. I get it, it sucks, but hire more people. I understand the company is likely the one causing the problem in staffing by not opening enough budget to hire new people but if thats the case, then find a way to make it work. Coach your people on multitasking and time management. Teach them what priority is what. Shorten pharmacy hours. Anything. 4. They are usually rude. Specific people that are frequently rude are the bald man with glass = very rude, 70-plus percent of the time. Larger woman, rude 50% of the time. Several of the other ladies are rude off and on. I genuinely think they are rude because they are burnt out and understaffed. I get a good read on people and with the exception of the bald man, I think most of the staff are just tired. I will continue going here because it is close to home and I have a toddler and work full time. I dont have time to go somewhere else reliably. I just hope they improve their services.

I made an appt for my covid/flu vaccines at this location. When I arrived to the window to check in, I saw the pharmacist (bald man with glasses). He rolls his eyes and huffed a sigh, and said with annoyed tone ‘are you here for vaccines?’ I answered yes, and he instructed me where to wait, which I did. He took more than 15 minutes to see me. He said only two words to me ‘which arm?’ I told him and he wiped my skin with the alcohol, squeezed my bicep then jabbed me. Once he was done I said ‘thank you’ all he said was ‘yup’. Now maybe he was having a bad day, I don’t know, but you shouldn’t treat pharmacy customers like cattle. The rest of the pharmacy staff have all been kind and considerate to me, and they are the reason why I will return to this location. Hopefully I don’t run into this man again

This pharmacy is under staffed. I always have to wait in a long line and only one person working the line.
