- SBSea BassDec 17, 20251.0Egregious understaffing makes the experience awful. To start, I bought 2 pairs of new glasses. One pair are blue light glasses for use when I’m on my computer. The initial prescription was done incorrectly, so a new pair of lenses were ordered. I wasn’t even notified that the new lenses had come in, or given instructions for what I needed to do. I was in the department for something else and asked in passing when I could expect my new glasses to arrive (I was under the impression that the glasses would be replaced. It turns out they sent in replacement lenses. Fine, where’s my notification. I returned today to get the lenses exchanged. I waited about 20 minutes for the single person staffing the ship to finish fitting and spelling a customer for new glasses. When he finished with that customer, he called on another customer who seems to arrive after I did. It was going to be another long interaction. How can you understaff the department so badly? I’m not faulting the one guy who was holding down the ship, having to get through a line of customers all by himself. It’s indicative of a lack of regard for customers. Now, I need to come back AGAIN. To resolve a problem that came about because of Target Optical’s error. And U’m afraid that I’ll probably get stuck waiting forever, yet again. This sucks.
