I will not support any business that puts ideological grand-standing above their actual job. It should be a red flag to anyone that the pharmacists who work here are so mixed up about their role that they think their job is NOT filling medications that doctors prescribe --doctors with licenses, who went to medical school-- but rather that THEY have a more noble calling-- a holier than thou crusade drives their true mission. And that mission means that they believe their role is ACTUALLY to make diagnoses and medical determinations FOR patients-- patients that they have never met, and know nothing about. That's right-- they believe they know what YOUR treatment should be, more than YOUR own doctor. And more importantly-- what your treatment should NOT be. Tsk tsk, I say. Stay. in. your. lane. The War on Prescription Drugs means the stigma has been shifted from the dealers and addicts on the street to cancer patients and the few Doctors still brave enough to really listen to and treat their patients. Unfortunately, this pharmacy is one that is ALL IN on this War, which means that they will never see a dime of my money. I could practically hear the woman holding her nose in the air on the other end of the line... okay, Karen. Just know: you and whoever stands behind your "policy"-- you are all making these decisions from a place of privilege: the privilege of NOT living a life in chronic pain. Don't take that privilege for granted, is my advice. None of us know what tomorrow brings. I encourage anyone who believes in medical privacy and the sacredness of the doctor- patient relationship, not to patronize this pharmacy as well... but of course, you can do what you like. That's the beauty of our free country (for now). Practically speaking, this place would have been a headache to work with anyway-- the gal I eventually spoke to told me matter of factly that when it's busy and they have vaccine appointments they just don't answer the phones. (I had tried calling four times over an hour period and kept getting voicemail.) She went on to "suggest" that some more inconvenient ways of refilling my rx -- like calling the grocery store and asking to be transferred -- as opposed to calling the pharmacy's direct number-- or "just coming down in person " if I needed to get a hold of the pharmacy would actually be the best ways to reach them. 🤔 if this lady really thinks that calling in a refill is just as easy as "coming on in" then she most definitely must not have kids.

The wait time at the Pharmacy is ridiculous! They had a line at least 10 people deep, can't even look up or acknowledge alllll the people waiting. You couldn't get me to come here, I'm only here to pick up prescription for someone else. 🤨
