You think Walgreens is bad? This place is much worse. Didn't think that was possible, but here we are. I recently had a prescription transferred to Safeway due to a stocking issue at my regular pharmacy and Safeway had it in stock and I cannot afford to wait for it to come in. It's an important medication. When my husband went to pick it up, he was told they couldn't (key word: couldn't) fill it because the prescription didn't state the frequency that the medication could be taken. I explained that the frequency says, "Take up to 5 times per week" but apparently according to the incompetent pharmacists at Safeway, that's not specific enough. I was told it needed to say how many times per day or my insurance wouldn't pay for it. Mind you, I have been taking this medication for 7 years with this same doctor and same insurance and there has never once been a question or an insurance issue. Then they said they would fill the prescription as it was written but I would have to pay full price. Excuse me, what?? So it's not that you COULDN'T fill it, you're just refusing to fill it. The complete petty incompetence of the people that work in this pharmacy is inexcusable. If these were actual medical professionals with an ounce of integrity who really thought the prescription was not specific enough to potentially cause a patient harm or confusion, why would you sell it to me full price? Clearly you're still willing to fill it as long as you get paid. Which you would have because my insurance has been paying for this for 7 years. So now I'm going to have to wait another week without my meds because of the incompetencen of the staff here. Never in all my life have I run into something like this. Unbelievable.

Horrible. I called yesterday 11/17 and they said my meds will be ready the following night, its the following night on 11/18; I came in at 3pm, They said that 2 still weren't ready and would be later in the day. Come back later at 8pm on the dot, Still not ready. She asked if i could wait 20 minutes; I waited 45. It's horrible there, and its constant, not just this once. All of them are unprofessional.

Absolutely horrible service, and not just once or twice but multiple times. They do not fill prescriptions when they say they are going to and cause patients to go on and off medications from it. I tried giving grace but after calling multiple times and then coming in to see no line and them just chatting. Definitely changing pharmacies after this time!
