This review isn't a reflection of Piper Family Dentistry's quality of work, but rather issues that we encountered when trying to schedule an appointment. After initially attempting to schedule an appointment in June of 2025, we were told to wait until October when they would be scheduling new patients again. We were told the same thing in October to wait until November. Finally, in November, we were told that Piper was only accepting family and friends as new patients and told to go elsewhere. This practice is in direct violation of Delta Dental's non-discrimination policy as well as Washington Administrative Code 246-817-370. So while Piper Family Dentistry may be a wonderful provider in general, please do not support a practice that willing and illegally discriminates against new patients.

I switched to Dr. Piper after seeing my last dentist and she immediately referred me to have the other dental work I needed done (wisdom teeth removal, orthodontics, and periodontics) and sent me to some amazing other doctors in the dental field in Bellingham. They are always very welcoming and listen and make sure you are always comfortable. I have hypermobility in a lot of my joints so I have issues with my jaw being hyper-extended and they are always accommodating for what works/is most comfortable for me. The hygienists always check in with you regularly as they’re doing your cleaning to make sure you’re comfortable and doing okay during the process. Plus there’s a bonus sometimes there is a very cute friendly dog in the lobby when she’s not down with the kids! Love love love this place and trust the dentists and hygienists here 100%.
