  With such a great location, I can NOT understand why this pharmacy is allowed to be SO AWFUL?? A previous review mentioned that a pharmacy worker answered very loudly when they were asked a PERSONAL question, which actually JUST happened to my partner last week. The worst part? This person appeared to INTENTIONALLY be loud and rude. And then, just when I thought it couldn't get more degrading or embarrassing, it did! They said that the medication was NOT ready and couldn't be filled for SIX days, then accused my partner of taking too much of the medication, right? Again, he was LOUDLY proclaiming all of this gibberish for everyone to hear! HOWEVER, HE (with his God complex) was the one who was in the WRONG - the medication was filled the next day by someone else who WASN'T completely controlling. I can't count how many times my prescriptions have been sent in by my doctor and then ignored, essentially. If you hate your job that much, quit. We aren't asking for overwhelming joyful kindness, just some level of human decency. We are, after all, the reason you even have a job.

  I switched to Fred Meyer after Rite Aid closed. The employees aren’t always the most bubbly people out there (which I think can seem rude at first), but everyone I’ve spoken to has been incredibly kind and helpful, especially with my transition over from the Rite Aid closure. Getting my prescriptions refilled is about average - there’s sometimes delays, but it’s not too bad. The main complaints I have is their phones and website! The phones are all automated, and multiple times I’ve had my prescriptions not be successfully refilled when I called them in. The pharmacy website doesn’t even work 90% of the time! I recommend either going through their drive through or in person to schedule your refills. The phones and website are corporate level problems though, not the fault of the people at this location. Yesterday, I had to get my flu and covid vaccines, and Basil helped me out. He was awesome! He was super friendly, and did the shots faster than I could even notice them. As someone who is terrified of needles, that was the easiest time I’ve ever had getting my flu shot. The pharmacy itself is decent (as long as you don’t use their phones or website), but I highly recommend getting your vaccinations at this location!

  I have just moved across Bellingham, very close to the other Fred Meyer, and I still want to drive to this one to get my prescription. Simple answer is Basil. I’ve never met a more personable pharmacist before, and he’s helped me out with meds that were disrupting my sleep that my doctor did not say. 10/10 Basil.

  When I asked a private question about my medication, the staff answered so loudly that everyone in line could hear. It was extremely embarrassing — as I walked out, I noticed people looking at me, which made me feel even more uncomfortable and humiliated. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone who values privacy and respect.
