She told me they would only sell me the frame — no lenses — because I didn’t have my eye exam done there. That makes no sense, especially since the Oliver Peoples website clearly lets you upload your prescription and order everything online. On top of that, I had to track down what I wanted myself, and most of what I got from her was simply, “we don’t have that.” No effort to offer alternatives, no attempt to make the process easier, just a flat refusal. It’s disappointing to see a luxury brand lose out on an $800+ sale over something like this. The policy feels rigid and customer-unfriendly, and the service didn’t match the level you’d expect from a boutique at this price point.
