- PPPedramSep 27, 20251.0I went into the Oliver Peoples boutique in Bellevue to get new glasses, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. She told me they would only sell me the frame — no lenses — because I didn’t have my eye exam done there. That makes no sense, especially since the Oliver Peoples website clearly lets you upload your prescription and order everything online. On top of that, I had to track down what I wanted myself, and most of what I got from her was simply, “we don’t have that.” No effort to offer alternatives, no attempt to make the process easier, just a flat refusal. It’s disappointing to see a luxury brand lose out on an $800+ sale over something like this. The policy feels rigid and customer-unfriendly, and the service didn’t match the level you’d expect from a boutique at this price point.
