- VPV PoubelleJan 30, 20255.0Pharmacists and pharmacy staff at the Bainbridge Safeway are always kind and helpful. This is saying something considering how busy they are almost constantly. I wasn't able to pick up my usual prescription recently (flu) so they called and offered to mail it to me. They may not recognize me because they help so many people, but I know who they are and am super grateful they're there.

Time to move on to our local independent pharmacy. Update two years later: this location has gotten much better with staffing. Debra (lead pharmacist) holds a kind and friendly attitude even during stressful times and it has permeated the entire staff. And they let go a couple of the bad apples. I stuck with them and am happy I did. They could still improve their communication, however, as things will sit there in limbo without a call too often. Upping my review from two to four stars!

I then left a message with no call-back, then I just went in hoping for either it being filled or at least an update. The guidance was that someone “ran the prescription in the system” but they don’t have the meds. No call or text, but they would text if it were filled. Not helpful. Then the suggestion was for ME to call all their other stores and if they have it, let my doctor know to write it for that store. So helpful, and advice taken: find another pharmacy.
