- PLPat LilienthalFeb 4, 20261.0I had a horrible experience at Williston Hannaford pharmacy. There was a glitch in their system because Dorset street Hannaford pharmacy had begun a transfer and then we decided it would be easier to just have the medication refilled where it was originally filled, Williston because otherwise she would have to "fax" Williston. The pharmacist agreed this would be best. When I called Williston the woman told me there are no refills. I read the bottle to her saying there is one refill. I explained it was likely a glitch in the system because of the aborted attempt to transfer 10 minutes prior. She kept repeating over and again "there are no refills". She refused to consider my point, rigid to the point of rudeness. If she had asked me to bring in the bottle to prove it, I gladly would have done so. But she was having none of that! I was a customer of Hannaford Pharmacies in two locations for around 25 years and I deserve better than someone treating me or anyone I care about that way. This experience showed me it would be best to move on from Hannaford. I called Kinney drug to open an account there. She was very kind and accommodating. All of my prescriptions after around 25 years with Hannaford have been transferred. And the other bonus is I will pay less at Kinney. I always chose to pay more at Hannaford bc they were my pharmacy of choice for decades. If I could give my experience at Williston Hannaford zero stars, sadly I would.
