Fantastic instructors! Challenging classes!
I had a mixed experience at Club Pilates. When I first called, However, when I arrived for a drop-in session, Skylar completely changed my perspective. She was extremely helpful, kind, and took the time to understand my fitness goals. I was looking for a mix of traditional gym training and Pilates, and she clearly explained how Pilates could support what I wanted to achieve. She even introduced me to the Control classes, which felt like a perfect fit. I highly recommend asking for Skylar if you have questions about how to align your goals with Pilates. 💪✨

Love Club Pilates Lake Ridge! The instructors care and work with all levels of student. I started 2 years ago, I knew nothing just what I read. Today, I am stronger, much more fit and love to to go to class! I strongly recommend 1:1 classes. The 1:1 instruction truly has taught me how to do every exercise properly and opened my eyes to the areas I need to focus on. Stacy is the GOAT! Regular classes are so great and the community of women and men are awesome! We are all on our own personal Pilates journey but we are in it together! I do after work classes and there are options for all kind of classes and levels to keep you coming back! Truly changed my life!

I started Club Pilates in November to see if it was be a good way for me to start working out with my plantar fasciitis and knee pain. I have been severely loving it! It’s been one of the best things I have done for my body. Everyone you’re so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is amazing. Jen Stacey and Anne are such amazing instructors. I’m so glad I upgraded my membership and can’t wait to better improve my body.
I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews, so I want to be clear: this review is about the business operations — not the instructors. The teachers are excellent. The studio is clean. Instruction quality is 5 out of 5.
My issue is access and management.
This location consistently overbooks classes. I purchased an 8-class-per-month membership and repeatedly struggled to get into classes. I initially raised this concern in November after realizing I could not consistently secure spots within my general availability window (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.).
The guidance I was given was to book classes two weeks in advance and join waitlists. While that may work for some, it is unrealistic for many adults managing work and family responsibilities. Expecting members to plan their schedules two weeks out just to access what they’ve already paid for is not practical.
Because credits do not roll over, I lost unused credits in November and December. In January, the same issue continued — and while weather-related cancellations are understandable, I was again unable to use what I paid for.
Out of 24 classes I attempted to take during my membership period, I was only able to complete 11. That is not even half of the sessions purchased.
When I submitted my 30-day cancellation notice in December, I expressed openness to private lessons as a way to work within my schedule. I received zero follow-up on that option.
The most disappointing experience occurred at the end of January as I was wrapping up my membership. After requesting a concession due to the inability to access classes, I was initially told via text that none would be offered. Later, I received a call offering a temporary concession for the following month. However, if the underlying overbooking issue remains, that does not resolve the core problem.
More concerning was the tone of the final conversation. It felt condescending and dismissive, particularly when referencing my responsibilities as a working mother. Members should not feel shamed for having a schedule. If someone is paying for a membership, reasonable access to classes should not feel competitive.
I would encourage prospective members to read reviews carefully and take them with a grain of salt. Incentives or concessions in exchange for positive reviews raise legitimate transparency concerns. That matters.
Everything stated in this review is factual, and I have documentation to support it.
Again, the instructors are strong. The operational model — overselling memberships beyond realistic class capacity — is the issue.
I ultimately did not receive the value of what I paid for and am handling that issue seperately.
