    Dr. Bogaert is a wonderful and compassionate doctor. She is genuine and makes me feel comfortable and highly confident that I am getting the absolute best care. At my very first visit 4 years ago she diagnosed a basal cell carcinoma nodule above my eye. I had been a patient of another dermatologist for a few years and that doctor had frozen the area and insisted at the follow up visit, about 6 weeks later, that the area was fine and no further treatment was warranted despite my expressed concern that it was still there and I could feel it upon touch. I finally decided to seek another opinion which led me to schedule with Dr. Bogaert. When she checked the area she immediately diagnosed as basal cell carcinoma but advised a biopsy to make sure and she was spot on with her diagnosis. She and her office staff wasted no time scheduling me for mohs surgery at University of Virginia to remove it. If you want a true competent professional, look no further than Dr. Maria Bogaert and her team at Dermatology Associates🩷

    Experienced, knowledgeable, confident, and reassuring Megan Armstrong is an expert in her field. All of the staff at Dermatology Associates were very professional, and most importantly of all, I was treated with respect and kindness rather than being viewed as a bothersome nuisance prevalent in specialized service environments today. Excellent Customer Service.

    Very nice facility and very clean. I like the doctor and his assistant, PA or NP not sure. Before you leave the exam room, they schedule your next appointment, if there is one, so you don’t have to go back out to a front desk to do it. Very efficient.

    Shout out to Katie Porter the radiology specialist with GentleCure. The radiation treatment was painless and 100% effective and having Katie as my daily contact and treatment expert was icing on the cake. Thank you Katie!!!!
