- KDK DAug 16, 20251.0My experience at Club Pilates Williamsburg has been terrible. I usually avoid writing negative reviews, but in this case, I feel people need to be aware. Thankfully, I only signed up for three months, because the staff has been nothing but arrogant and rude. As a newcomer, I wasn’t aware of certain details—for example, the requirement for grip socks. That shouldn’t have been an issue, but on my second visit, the way the instructor addressed me was unnecessarily harsh. Instead of politely explaining, she bluntly told me I couldn’t work out without the socks. When I pointed out that they sell grip socks there and asked if I could buy a pair, she gave me a pair so oversized that they slipped off my feet. She didn’t even attempt to exchange them or offer a proper solution. From that moment on, every interaction felt dismissive and unhelpful. The real issue isn’t the rules—it’s the condescending, unfriendly way they communicate them.

Club Pilates has totally changed that for me and I’m actually disappointed now when I’m not able to get there for my sessions! I’ve gained in strength and confidence, lost weight, and truly enjoy the supportive atmosphere. All of the instructors are fantastic and I appreciate the variety in their styles and the classes offered. The app makes scheduling a breeze and they have been wonderfully responsive when I have had questions or concerns. Highly recommend!
