  We hired Home Instead over a month ago and could not be more pleased with their service. We contacted two other agencies; one sent several forms to be completed before they would even talk to us, the other didn't return our call until five days later. Our first contact with Home Instead was Sherilyn, the Care Coordinator. She explained everything in detail, answered all our questions, and got the ball rolling. A nurse came out within a few days for an assessment, and we had our first aide a few days later. Sherilyn has made a few more visits, just to check in to be sure all is well. After several aides, all of whom were well trained and kind, we landed on a few regulars. Grace, Patra and Tomika are wonderful. They are respectful, dependable, help with housekeeping and meal preparation, and are great companions. I can run errands knowing my husband will be well cared for while I'm away. They have accompanied us to doctor appointments and errands which is so helpful. Not once has there been a "no show". There may have been changes in the schedules, but someone always shows up. That reassurance relieves a lot of stress on our end. The office staff - Dana, Donya and Celeste - keep everything moving. They work hard for all of us and are patient and understanding. I requested an aide late one afternoon for the next morning and within an hour, someone was scheduled. The Home Instead team is our choice for home care!

  Elenora is amazing! The relationship she has with our mother is incredible. Elenora is an outstanding caregiver, always ready to help when needed, very kind, and professional. In summary, Elenora is the best!

  We have had a great experience with Home Instead. The schedulers are proactive and thoughtful in their scheduling. Dana has managed our account and she has been fantastic. The caregivers are professional, reliable, caring and punctual.

  Home Instead in Virginia Beach has been an absolute blessing for our family! The entire Home Instead Team deserves praises, from the managers to the workers, and everyone in between! The administrative staff are professional, responsive, and genuinely caring. From scheduling to communication, everything has been handled smoothly and with compassion. They faithfully go above and beyond to make sure families feel supported and informed. Dana, Asja, Celeste, and Donya are the best and second to none, thank you all for the continual hard work and keen attention to detail! The caregivers are equally outstanding! They are kind, trustworthy, patient, dependable, and treat their clients with dignity and respect. It’s clear they take pride in their work and truly care about the people they serve. Knowing our loved one is in such capable and caring hands gives us incredible peace of mind. Many and special thanks to Julie and Janell for their compassion and dedication!   We have been very pleased with Home Instead and their attention to sending caregivers who are invested in their job and the client. Lisa Banks has been in our home during a difficult time and has brought such a positive attitude and helping hand to my husband as I recovered from surgery. Can’t say enough about the services we have received.
