- JJJen Polson (JMH)Sep 4, 20134.0I would give a FIVE star, but I've had two crowns and the first one was in the very back and that was not fun for Dr K or myself. I have to say though that this last crown procedure was SO SO much better! :) I was pretty anxious about getting another crown, so I had requested the use of nitrous oxide to calm my nerves. I was then a bit nervous as one of my friends said that she got a very bad headache as a side effect to that gas. :( Anyway, I went in and Dr K was so nice and reassuring. He said that this tooth is more toward the front, so the experience will be much better. He suggested we do the wait and see approach regarding the nitrous oxide. He also gave me options of how to communicate w/ him during the procedure which helped me feel more control. I think if they could just make that horrible drill silent then the whole dental experience would be much, much better. I've also been super impressed with how friendly the front and dental assistant staff is as well. My two sons go there and we'll keep going until we have to PCS w/ the military, hopefully not for another couple of years. :)
