Ocean Atlantic Dental is a great dental office. They are nice and have text messages set up as reminders for appointments. Dr. T is very gentle. I can almost fall asleep in the chair, and I hate going to the dentist. The front office staff are always very nice.

I paid out of pocket for a tooth filling, I left and my jaw was swollen and bruised, during the procedure nothing was said to me at all so I was not aware if there was something that went wrong. As I was leaving he said there's a 5% chance there could be an issue with my nerves...well there was 100% an issue with them and I have had nerve pain since the numbing wore off, just as bad as it was before the filling. So I paid $400 and got no help for the pain which is why I came in the first place. I let them know and made an appt a couple days later on a Monday, over the weekend I became aware I had another appointment at the same time Monday and would have to reschedule and since they are not open on the weekends I had to wait until Monday to contact them so I did and they said I'd have to pay the 50$ fee now to reschedule it which just seems ridiculous to me since I couldn't contact them 24 hours ahead of time they weren't open.... I'm just very frustrated I had to pay so much for a filling and didn't get any relief and I haven't been to the dentist in 5+ years because they scare me and this experience just made it worse.
