  It’s an okay company, but they let go of the only caregiver who truly cared about my mother. Her name was Armonie, and she made my mom feel seen, safe, and respected. She moved my mom around in her wheelchair with ease, patience, and real compassion — something you can’t teach. My family still talks about her. We miss her deeply. It’s been hard because most caregivers who come now either fall asleep, stay on their phones, or leave my mother unsupervised. It’s nothing like the warmth, attention, and effort she gave every single day. I’ve been searching for someone like her since. She was a light in my mother’s life, and losing her has truly been felt. Months later my mom & family still talks about her. Companies should get back to hiring heartfelt people this is expertise where it matters the most! :-)

  I have used other senior services and this company although it doesn't rate last place it is in close competition with that. First of all my dad has dementia and doesn't do well with too many people. This company promised they could provide the same care giver for two days a week. After going thru six people two of whom fell asleep while supposedly caring for my dad, one of them did not know how to cook at all and was looking for microwavable food to give my dad. One of the ones that fell asleep let me dad sit in a wet diaper all day. And when I say "fell asleep". . . I mean one of them grabbed a blanket and flat out curled up on the couch without any supervision of my dad. My dad is shaky on his feet and uses a walker. While these folks were asleep my dad was up and walking without any devise or assistance. He falls a lot and supervision of his movement is crucial and these care givers were neglectful. The company wants me to keep paying for their services for two weeks cause that is the policy on cancelling. Well I believe it is a breach of contract on their part by providing substandard and neglectful service and they should release me from the contract. I have been trying to speak with management to no avail. Not sure what my recourse is. I think I have been duped by this company and I believe the testimonials they post on their website are fake. I cannot even give them 1 star on the rating They rate a big fat ZERO!!!! Oh wait I cant post this if I don't give them one star but believe me I RATE THEM A ZERO!!!!

  I highly recommend Jennifer Canty and the Team at Home Instead. Home Instead provides thorough, top notch professional, & friendly personal care, so much that they feel like family! They are amazing.

  While I have not personally made use of Home Instead I know several people who have been helped greatly by their services and they have nothing but good things to say about the quality and capability of the staff and great communication with the company.

  Home Instead has been such a blessing for my family. The schedulers do a fantastic job of identifying care providers who are the right fit for my mom’s needs and personality. They truly go above and beyond to maintain a consistent team, which brings my mom both comfort and stability. That consistency has made such a positive difference in her daily life. I want to especially recognize Dana, who has done an outstanding job. Her attention, compassion, and commitment give me great peace of mind knowing my mom is in good hands. I am so grateful to Dana and the entire Home Instead team for the comfort, care, and support they provide.
