- KWKenneth WolfordDec 9, 20251.0First off I'm elderly and not quite as sharp as I use to be. My wife was prescribed Mematine which is a step drug. We got 84 5mg pills that were to be taken over a month in ever increasing doses until all 84 pills had been taken and then she was to switch to the 10 mg dose twice a day. It is refill time for the 10mg and we got the 84 5mg dose again. I expected to get only 10 mg pills. When I called I talked to a young lady. As I said I am elderly and as such have given up expecting to be treated as anything other than an a problem. She was cold uncaring of my concerns and passed the whole problem back on the doctor. When I finally came to terms with the her position I started to thank her for her time and she hung up. Most of the time thing go just fine but this time I needed a little understanding and got cold uncaring responses which I can handle but the sheer rudeness was madding. I won't be switching pharmacies but I sure won't be recommending Kroger either.
