All of the staff at National Eyecare Associates at the Suffolk VA office are very courteous and supportive throughout my visit. They helped me with pre-registration and preparation for the eye examination. All procedures were professional explained to me, which in turn made me feel very comfortable during the entire procedure. A thank you 🙏🏽 shout out to the eye support staff Emoni, Sandy, Dr. Ramsey for making my eye examination appointment a very pleasant one.
Sincerely

I had a really good experience at National Eyecare Associates at LensCrafters. My wife originally scheduled the appointment by phone, and I had to reschedule twice afterward. One of those was easy to do online, but the other required a phone call. The online system works, but it’s not quite as simple as some others I’ve used.
When I arrived, check-in was quick and easy. The front desk staff were friendly, personable, and professional, and I was called back in about five minutes.
The exam itself was thorough and well explained. One thing that was different was that the doctor conducted the exam via telehealth. The technology worked smoothly and communication was clear, but it was definitely a little strange at first compared to seeing a doctor in the room. That said, it still felt like a complete and proper exam.
After the exam I ended up buying glasses from the LensCrafters side. The optician who helped me was great and came over to help with frames. He actually suggested a pair that ended up being the exact same style I had before, which was funny because that’s what I was leaning toward anyway.
The lens options and pricing were explained during checkout rather than upfront, but nothing about the price surprised me. Glasses are something I wear every day, so I tend to look at it as a cost-versus-use kind of thing.
Overall it was a smooth experience. The staff were friendly, the appointment moved quickly, and everything felt professional. I’d definitely go back.
