Rebecca was professional, patient, and kind. She helped me find two pairs of glasses and made sure all my needs were met. You can tell she genuinely cares for you. Thank you!

3/28/2026 I want to extend a very BIG thank you to the staff at LensCrafters Suffolk College Drive. I have gotten a couple pair of Frames from this location before. My current frames were bought online. My eyeglass frames got bent accidentally, i just recently got them and really like my frames. So i called lenscrafters and explain my situation. I was told by staff they would try to reshape them free of charge but not responsible if they break. I was totally fine with that since it was avoidable due to my carelessness. The reshaped them back to original shape.

I Have had several positive experiences with this location. They have a large selection of glasses including high ends like Versace, Prada, & Gucci. I found myself loving a pair of versace and gucci Frames, so I got both. I Also took my daughter there as well. She found some Ralph Laurens that they were able to order/ get, in a smaller size. After receiving the glasses they kept sliding down her nose, so later that same day we went back up to the location for an adjustment. Unfortunately the location was just closing. The rep. Saw us, called us back and asked about our concerns. She just asked us to wait outside, as they were technically closed but still gave her glasses another adjustment. That was above and beyond. Thanks guys ...we will continue to use this location.

I recently had a very positive shopping experience at the LensCrafters in Suffolk, VA, on University Blvd. The staff were friendly, patient, and took the time to explain my options clearly without any pressure. I left feeling well taken care of and confident in my new eyeglasses.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
