  I’ve been going to medi Stafford for about 3 months now and really love the ladies that work here! They are always making sure I feel motivated and reminding how far I’ve come! So far I’ve lost around 20 pounds and I feel great and always looking forward to my weekly appointments!

  The Stafford office strikes me as well-meaning but disorganized. After several “in-take” appointments during which I was offered GLP-1 injections and given a list of membership options, I arrived for my first official treatment and was advised that I wasn’t eligible for GLP-1s. Instead, I was given a 600-calorie protein diet and told to follow it strictly. When I confided that I knew I would need appetite suppressants to maintain such a low-calorie diet, the taciturn NP balked and only grudgingly agreed to write a prescription for 7 days’ worth. Despite my initial misgivings, I did lose a few pounds, and was starting to think that Medi-Weightloss might be alright after all. Then at my last appointment before the recent snow storm that all but closed down Stafford, I was told that should storm prove severe, they would cancel my appointment. That’s why I was surprised by a message I got the following Friday that I “missed my appointment,” that the office scheduled for me without my knowledge or consent, and even more surprised to learn that they charged me $50.00 for missing this appointment. When I went to my normally scheduled appointment this morning, I informed them of their mistake but was told that the bait-and-switch appointment and missed appointment fee was policy and they made me pay it. Considering the only service this practice provided me was a diet that I could have looked up online and weekly weigh-ins that I could easily do at home, I decided that today’s visit would be my last. I don’t recommend this practice or company given their ridiculous, under-handed policies.
