These people are not doctors, they are butchers and con artists. They have taken the current prevailing dermatologic philosophy of “cut first, biopsy, then ask questions” to its ultimate and absurd extreme. In the 3 years I was a patient, every single time I went in they would pick, seemingly at random and with no stated justification, a mole and go “oh that looks troubling.” Every time it was nothing. Biopsy would come back with no issues whatsoever, just a mole. Then I developed a simple pimple which, by virtue of it being located on the point of my elbow, would constantly become inflamed whenever I sat in my office chair. I go in to ask some advice, tell them it’s a simple pimple, and the doctor responded that it looked like some congenital skin issue which should be biopsied immediately. I declined the biopsy and of course it cleared up completely when I gave it a chance to heal. But then they find something underneath the skin and go full scare tactics. And instead of doing even a cursory check of my insurance, they blindly send me to the one hospital in Richmond that doesn’t accept my insurance. I’m still trying to claw back a refund from this hospital a year later. With no luck. I’m still out 500 dollars because of their knee jerk, unthinking reaction and sending me to the one place which didn’t accept my insurance. Which is illegal, because every medical practice has an obligation to check your insurance and, if at all possible, connect you with other providers in your plan. So not only are they raring to rip you apart, they don’t even conduct the legally required due diligence before they send you for “care.” By the way the “lump” was nothing. If you’re a deluded rich person who just wants to have a biopsy done every year as some kind of psychological release, then this is the practice for you. If you actually want to know whether you have skin issues or not, find someplace better.

This practice is awesome. It may be hard to get an initial first appointment but once you’re an established patient, you are treated with so much care. I have a chronic condition and I have never had a bad experience. The doctors listen and try to help. I would recommend Dr. Lee and Dr. Nath to anyone!

My experience was my wife calling to make an appointment for me as a new patient on March 26 at about 11:30 & whomever was answering the phone at that time rudely put my wife on hold without any notification. I was sitting right beside her & I asked did the phone disconnect? My wife said no I think she put me hold, there is music playing. I love when stuff like this happens because they didn't have any appointments till July but after that ordeal we went with Dermatologists, Associates Of Virginia & I have an appointment for next week. Keep up the good work guys, just lost some good business.

Ana Wiley was a fantastic NP who was friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions. I didn’t feel rushed and that the entire experience was very pleasant.
