  I was thoroughly impressed with my experience here today with my 3 year old. The office is bright, beautiful and clean. Ericka at the front desk helped us immediately feel welcome and comfortable. She was so helpful with billing and scheduling the times I've spoken with her. I was amazed at Dr. Skarda and Iyonah's ability to help my baby feel safe and comfortable the entire time. They were an awesome team! I would highly recommend this office!

  I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The dentist went above and beyond while treating my daughter for a filling. She was extremely nervous, and they handled her with so much patience, kindness, and reassurance every step of the way. They took the time to explain everything, made her feel safe, and turned what could have been a scary experience into a positive one. The dental hygienist staff were equally wonderful, professional, gentle, and caring. It is clear they truly care about their patients, especially children who may be anxious. I am incredibly grateful for the level of care my daughter received and would highly recommend this practice to anyone, especially parents with nervous children. The only area for improvement would be the front desk and billing experience. While everything was ultimately handled, clearer communication and a more patient-focused approach would help the administrative side match the exceptional level of care provided by the clinical team.

  As always amazing Team. I've been going there for a few years now and I don't have one negative to say about them. Their new location is so neat and welcoming. You feel comfortable and welcomed the minute you walk in. Both doctors and techs are kids friendly and so good at what they do. Today my son had a loose tooth that he was being sensitive about. Yami the tech who cleaned his teeth was very patient and super nice. We had doctor Bryan for the first time today. He was AMAZING. Very nice. I will not stop recommending this place to parents. Thank you to all of you at children's dentistry of Virginia, Richmond. Please keep doing what you do.👍👍

  Best place in Richmond!! the whole team is AMAZING! The patient care is superb the welcoming environment when you walk in, their staffs communication skills and professionalism, bedside manner of the dentist with the families and small children , flexibility scheduling appointments! As a kid on Medicaid I grew a fear that I still suffer from as an adult and was traumatized thru dental procedures from not so good practices, so thankful for this team all of my children won’t suffer the same fate and actually are excited and look forward to every dentist appointment!

  The overall experience with the service was quite unsatisfactory. During the appointment booking process, we provided our insurance card and explicitly inquired whether all expenses would be covered by our insurance provider. The representative assured us that all costs were indeed covered. However, following our visit, we received an unexpected bill requesting payment. Upon contacting our insurance company, we confirmed that the service provider had not taken the initiative to verify our coverage directly. Ultimately, we had to pay the amount requested. We regret our decision to utilize their services and place undue trust in their representations, resulting in an unfavorable outcome.
