- MOMichael OakesDec 21, 20245.0I am very pleased with the professional and courteous service provided by Safeway Pharmacy at South Lakes in Reston. I know there are several pharmacists there, but I have dealt primarily with Elly, Mary and more recently Hope. I experienced a significant medical event three and a half years ago which led to a raft of medications, the prescriptions for which changed almost month-to-month during the first year or so of recovery. Elly was instrumental in accommodating these changes. When I transitioned from private insurance to Medicare, she was instrumental in providing me the information I needed to insure that different medications were properly billed to the appropriate Medicare plans. I find this pharmacy superior to several others with which I dealt, and have moved all of my pharmacy business here as a result.

She did NOT know how to perform and record such a test. I found elsewhere to take a test, but what else do they get wrong at this pharmacy??

This time around I came with my mother for the same reason but I had a complete opposite experience. The pharmacist in the front was rude from the beginning and it was over all an unpleasant experience. I couldn’t make out the pharmacist name but I believe the initials were E. P. I normally don’t give out reviews but I felt the need to because I don’t want anyone else to experience that when there are already nervous about a covid shot. I hope a manager addresses this to prevent future interactions that are rude and nasty.
