  I called to check when my prescription would be ready and was told it had already been picked up, which left me extremely confused. This medication requires an ID because it is a controlled substance. Shortly after, I received a call from another patient who had accidentally been given my prescription when picking up medication for their child. I called the pharmacy back to report the error and was simply told “your medication is ready,” with no apology, explanation, or acknowledgement of the seriousness of the situation. This involved a controlled substance and a clear verification failure, as well as a breach of patient privacy under HIPAA. Very disappointing experience and concerning from a safety standpoint.

  Getting someone else’s medication is a big Hippa Violation!! Grateful we looked at the medicine before our 9 year old took it!!!

  I went there for the first time today. After walking inside the store I looked around for the pharmacy. While looking around I couldn't help but notice how clean and well stocked all of the shelves were. I had a prescription called in so I went to the pharmacy and picked it up. The pharmacist and the assistant smiled and waited on me immediately and asked if they could help me with anything else. I'll definitely be going back to that Giant.
