Dentist and dental staff are great but the office, specifically the people doing the billing, are arrogant, clueless, and lazy. We do not have confidence in their ability to bill procedures correctly and this was most evident when their billing policy came in direct conflict with what Delta Dental said what we should pay. The office wanted to bill us 3x single surface fillings on the same teeth instead of using the much discounted rate for 3 surfaces on a single teeth. We confirmed with Delta Dental who asked the office to call in if they are unsure how to bill the procedure correctly. The office never called and instead insisted they were doing it the right way, which would cost 3x the out of pocket costs. After a week of going back and forth, they admitted the error but the bill still came out higher than what Delta Dental said we should be charged. After that, we stopped going and switched to a different dental practice that were a lot more transparent on billing.

We switched dentists about two years ago and have never looked back. Morrison Dental—specifically the Norfolk location—has been fantastic.
Kevin at the front desk always greets us with a warm smile, and he consistently goes above and beyond to accommodate my family of five. Anytime I’ve needed to adjust appointments, he works hard to schedule us in a way that makes the trip from Hampton as easy as possible.
The back office staff creates such a welcoming and calming environment, which makes what is usually a stressful experience so much easier. Even though they aren’t specifically a pediatric practice, they do an amazing job with my children (ages 6, 8, 14, and 15). Their bedside manner is exceptional—they make all of us feel comfortable, never judged, and truly cared for during what can feel like a vulnerable time.
We always leave feeling informed, with no unanswered questions, and never pressured into unnecessary procedures. Today, I even had the pleasure of meeting one of the Morrison owners, who took the time to connect with my boys by sharing pictures of his dog—just another example of how genuine and personable the team is.
Yes, the drive through the HRBT can be a bit of a hassle, but this office makes it completely worth it.
Dr. Miller is the best!!! Her assistant Shae was so kind and respectful. They took care of me in a timely manner and were all so polite and understanding. The reception desk has an awesome team! Thank you guys for giving me a smile again. 10 out of 10 experience!

Recently I had to schedule an appointment for my
Mom and Sheila and Kevin were so helpful and patient during the whole process, they were able to answer all my questions. Customer service like this will make me continue to come back for future visits!

I have the most patient, kind and understanding in regards of customer treatments. Communication from the front desk is so bad but I never made a big deal out of it. Today, i called for my son’s appt to cancel and turns out it has been cancelled without my knowledge which i did not mind BUT they keep sending me messages about the appt and it’d charge me if I dont show up or cancel for $59? And here I am doing their job to remind them about my son’s appt cus they never call back when they promise to call back and will be given an attitude over the phone?
Oh and btw, not all their assistants are nice. I’ve had multiple appts with them and most of the experiences were bad and horrible! there is only one assistant that I LOVE SO MUCH and i have been trying to request for her but they never gave her to me until I told them one of my worse experiencd!
But going back to the phone call, make sure you talk to the customer nicely, be patient and listen to their concerns, the fact that i was not informed of the cancellation u had to guts to cut me off while talking on the phone is far beyond DISRESPECTUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL!
