My sisters and I, who live out-of-town, had struggled for two years, since my father's passing, to give my elderly, now-widowed mother, the care she deserved. We contacted Chelsey and her team at the Home Instead office in Newport News, and within a day, we had a Care Plan in place so that my mother could safely and happily remain in her own home with a wonderful Care Professional! The Home Instead Team went above and beyond to LISTEN to what we wanted/needed in the way of care for my mother, communicated with our family many times per day, paired my mother with THE PERFECT Care Professional, and they continue to reach out to make sure all is going well for my mother. I have never been so impressed with a company which provides care for seniors than I am with Home Instead of Newport News! I know that my mother is happy and well-cared-for with Tracey, her Care Professional who has exceeded all of our expectations! The peace of mind that my sisters and I now have cannot be adequately expressed. I would wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead of Newport News to all who have an elderly loved one who needs assistance in their own home!

The caregiver (April) is gentle and very focused on safety. The response is always prompt when I call or email with questions. Hiring Home Instead has allowed my father, brother, and I to get some much-needed rest after caring for my mother during the day.
