    I am very impressed with the quality of the care my mother is receiving and how Home Instead in Newport News sent a caregiver to start working an overnight shift with her on the same day we had the care consultation meeting and assessment. The caregiver (April) is gentle and very focused on safety. The response is always prompt when I call or email with questions. Hiring Home Instead has allowed my father, brother, and I to get some much-needed rest after caring for my mother during the day.

    Excellent experience. Good honest answers by the leadership (Holly) to my searching questions gave me peace to try Home Instead. The caregiver (Dawn) has proven to be the best “medicine” for my wife afflicted with dementia. Despite being nonverbal, she began began talking more, smiling more etc!

    Before our care giver with Home Instead, our senior with Alzheimer's would sleep most of the day and we would have trouble getting her out of bed. With 12 hrs a week with Home Instead, she is happy to get out of bed to spend time with her care giver! They play games together and bake cookies. She also had more energy the rest of the week. Thank you Home Instead for giving our senior a better quality of life help her do the things she likes to do!
