  The classes themselves are good—I genuinely enjoyed the workouts and the overall atmosphere. The instructors create a positive, motivating environment that aligns well with the brand’s focus on fitness and mindfulness. However, the customer experience outside of class is very disappointing. There was little to no clear communication or education provided at signup. Myself and others were under the impression that we could use multiple locations, similar to most fitness chains, but that turned out not to be the case. Within just 48 hours of joining, I found that out and called the studio. 4 days later, Alexis called me and stated I couldn’t cancel without penalty or transfer my membership to a closer club, even though my registration details should have indicated a potential issue from the start/sign up. The only option offered was to spend more money to access another location that wasn’t any more convenient. Additionally, the cancellation process is not customer-friendly. They ask for a written notice but how to go about that wasn’t clear or available online. Later I find out that it’s a form you have to fill out in person. Overall, while the classes are good, the lack of transparency and poor customer communication made the experience frustrating and ultimately not worth it.

  So I only made it to a few classes due to the fact that slots fill up fast after a while it just wasn’t the right time . Now the staff that I interacted with even up to today was great however! When you sign your contract your signing with death row for 3 months so if you are someone who likes to move around or your schedule drastically changes like mine this particular program is not for you! Also got hit with fraudulent activity and this particular subscription fell to the wayside tried to get ahead and freeze then cancel like they suggested and they still make you pay while on hold . So if your dedicated to it then do it but if your not sure pick another program !

  Just did a Control 1.5 class. Kako is my favorite instructor !! She is so attentive and just amazing !! Vikki Bell is a such a masterful instructor !!! So creative and challenging in the ways !! This lady is also amazing !!!!!!! Come check it out !!!

  I enjoy the variety of classes offered at Club Pilates Newport News. It is somewhat difficult to pick a favorite instructor, as there are several excellent ones. My overall favorite is Kako. Her classes never disappoint, especially her Control classes. My favorite instructor for Center and Balance is Rachel, who knows anatomy so well. Her focused sessions always meet my needs. I cannot forget Savanna, an excellent instructor who radiates positivity and provides great guidance in her sessions.

  I have been member of Club Pilates for 2 months now and really enjoy the classes. I have had a good majority of the instructors, but Kako is one that sticks out. She is excellent in every way. She is kind, energetic, and knows her stuff. She takes time with you, pays attention to detail in your movements, and you can tell she loves what she does. The only negative thing I have to say is the wait list for classes is insane, but not a deal breaker for me.
