  Dr Powers taught me something today that should be common knowledge for any medical practitioner, not just allergists. Primary Care Physicians, Pulmonologists and anyone providing treatment for older folks with these types of symptoms or any practitioner treating folks with sleep apnea should be taught this in Medical School. Actually, since it does not happen only in seniors…ALL Medical Practitioners should be taught these things in first year Medical School.

  Billing here is very inconsistent. I come in for my shots every three weeks like clockwork, and although I pay my copay every time, without fail I’m told on each visit that I “have a balance” on my account. Office staff cannot explain these “balances;” they will only direct you to a mysterious, third-party, off-site biller. Allergy Partners seems to be a juggernaut in the Richmond area, but if an alternative can be found, use them.
