Black & Kletz Allergy (also known as Yuill Black, MD and Michael R. Kletz, MD, P.C.) is an Allergy and Immunology practice consisting of two board certified allergists, Michael R. Kletz, MD and Appaji Gondi, MD. We have three offices in the Washington, D.C metropolitan area with two offices located in Northern Virginia and one office in northwest Washington, D.C.

- RBRachel BowdersMar 11, 20264.0I want to start by saying that Dr. Gondi was amazing. He has a very kind, patient, and caring presence. I felt extremely listened to and he helped me identify the root cause of an issue with flushing that I’ve been experiencing for years…something that all of my other doctors have either missed or didn’t care to look into. I sincerely can’t thank you enough for your help Dr. Gondi! As you all probably know, it’s time to update your technology. This is 2026…patients should be able to fill out forms and questionnaires electronically. The front desk staff seemed irritated on the phone which kind of turned me off…but I realize it’s probably because they’re taking all of the frustration from patients who are unhappy with your front desk workflow. Seems like you’re overdue to get on Epic!
- JPJohana PodricApr 18, 20251.0Dr. Gondi claims to be a MCAS specialist but has limited knowledge of the condition and basically refuses to treat it. Do not come here and allow them to provide you FALSE hope. Honestly, super pathetic. Came all the way from FL due to false hope.

Dr. Kletz and his nurses always take their time with me and have gone out of their way to help me navigate some unusual and complicated issues related to allergies and allergy shots. Front desk staff are always kind and helpful and have done an excellent job of answering my billing questions as well. I highly recommend!

He is patient, kind, knowledgeable and really listens to you. He will keep trying different solutions. Their staff is patient, polite and always has a happy smile for you.
