Had I known the service the doctor provided was outside of my coverage, I would have found another provider. Yet, they did not seem to care to tell me of the changes until after and offered no appropriate resolution.

Therefore I looked for an available optometrist and this location had a few same-day appointments. That was a big win. A better result, I loved the optometrist, Dr. Nguyen. She is fast and very knowledgeable about patient needs. She redid some of the tests as the pictures weren’t clear enough for her to understand. And listened to my wants as I am borderline needing progressives and she advocated for my having a choice! The staff was nice and quick to register a new patient. And now the ick. The location was not kept clean; Makeup marks on the equipment, a faint smell of unwashed persons permeated throughout. I cleaned the equipment myself before I used it😂, the person conducting the exams looking on puzzled by my fastidiousness, maybe even a bit perturbed by the ‘waste’ of time. Lesson: there is no perfect, a kind staff and knowledgeable doctor or a sparkling clean office. You can’t have both apparently.
