Dr. Patel is both a dentist and a physician, completing both is medical and dental degrees at Columbia University. He finished his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. During his training, he participated with Healing the Children in the countries of Columbia and Ecuador treating children with cleft lips and palates. Dr. Patel was also part of one of the first teams involved in CT guided implant placement at Columbia University. Dr. Patel was born and raised in Philadelphia and went to Boston University for college. Dr. Patel, his wife and three children enjoy spending time together and enjoy traveling.

- KKKhyariMar 12, 20261.0I came in as a new patient and will not be returning. Despite having full X-rays completed at my primary dentist just yesterday, this office insisted on taking a new set. When I questioned the necessity of paying for the same diagnostic images twice, the staff tried to "reassure" me by saying insurance covers them at 100%. This is incredibly misleading; even if covered, it still deducts from my annual insurance allotment, leaving less coverage for actual dental work later in the year. It felt like a blatant attempt to maximize billing rather than provide efficient patient care. Because of this lack of transparency and respect for my time and benefits, I have also canceled my daughter’s upcoming appointment as well. I’ll be taking our business to a practice that values integrity over redundant procedures. Lost 2 patients in less than 5 mins, and had the chance to win over a family of 7. Expecting prompt refund for services not rendered.
