  We have used this pharmacy for three years with minimal issues; however, today will be our last time doing so. There was a significant breakdown in communication regarding the availability of a critical medication. For three consecutive days, I was told only to “come back after 5,” without being informed that the medication was not available. After returning for the third time and expressing my frustration, I was finally offered assistance in locating the medication elsewhere. By that point, I had already obtained the medication on my own at another location. Only after that did I receive a call stating that it had been found elsewhere. It should not take a patient becoming visibly upset to prompt appropriate communication or problem-solving. There are far better ways to support patients, particularly when it involves essential medications.

  NO MATTER THE STATUS OF YOUR SCRIP PREPARE TO WAIT 30 MINS IN GIANT!!! Pharmacy does not answer phones you cant call anything in early???

  This pharmacy is so irresponsible. The order was faxed for somebody else and the order wasn't ready. They started to prepare the order when I went to pickup

  My local Giant pharmacy in Herndon on John Milton drive refused to give me Covid vaccine even though the phone message and website site said they would take walk-ins. When I said the website and phone said they did I was told that the would not and stores could do what they wanted. First I was told they would not have any vaccine until next week, then was told I could make an appointment for tomorrow, I said then you have the vaccine and they said yes we do but won’t give vaccine without appointment. They have vaccine but said they were too busy. I called another Giant Pharmacy and was told of course we take walk-ins.
