Got Paxlovid prescribed for COVID and apparently was $300 even with my federal employee health insurance. The pharmacist gave me a call to tell me about paxlovid's online coupon to get a discount! I really appreciated that she took a look at the cost and provided such information.

On 11/18/2023 there was only one pharmacist working. She answered the phone at 4:30 pm and asked if we could call back in 30 minutes because she was busy. We called back about 10 times and no answer. My wife headed over there while I continued to call and got there at about 5:20 pm. When my wife arrived she saw that there was not even one person in line and the pharmacist was sitting and listening to music with one headphone in her ear (not picking up the phone). I called two more times (my wife could hear the phone ringing) and the pharmacist finally answered my call and told me to hold and then helped my wife.

I like getting texts to let me know my Rx is available. Recently I when was to pick up 3 months of my Rx, they switched pill manufacturers on me, and only put 1 month in the bag. I was willing to try a new brand, but the missing 2 months was a problem. However, that was easily rectified with a phone call and I was told they made a note about it.
Then I was too busy to grab the Rx, and after 2 weeks went back with some new knowledge: the new pills I got are difficult for me to swallow, and I've been without my Rx for 3 days already because of it. So I showed up asking for the remaining 2 months, AND for them to switch it back to my previous brand of pills.
THEY DID, AND IT WAS A SIMPLE PROCESS.
The staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. It took time because they had to verify I really didn't get all 3 months at my first pickup, but the process was smooth when I expected difficulties from all the stacked circumstances.
While I won't be using this pharmacy for vaccines anymore (long wait times, even with an appointment) I think they've been overall quite good for Rx pickup the last few years.

Excellent customer service! Very responsive and knowledgeable. They’ve even called me to tell me that they’ve found manufacturers’ coupons to reduce my cost of medication. They make an effort to always give me the same drug company for my generic meds so that there’s no variation in strength (it’s a thing!). I like them MUCH better than my local CVS, and the Oakton Giant is HORRIBLE.

Why is reviewing my Medicare plan every year important?
Reviewing your Medicare plan every year is important because Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D) can change annually. These changes may affect your coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and provider network. By reviewing your plan during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, you can ensure it still meets your healthcare needs and budget—and switch plans if necessary.
