Welcome to Opulent Pediatric Dentistry, where we care about and for your child’s smile! The practice was founded as Virginia Children’s Dentistry by Dr. Darcy Amacher in 2002 with the goal of providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care for children.
Upon Dr. Amacher’s retirement in 2019, Dr. Jacqueline Carney stepped in to fill her shoes. Since Dr. Carney’s retirement, Dr. Priyanka Dutt has now assumed ownership of the practice.
Dr. Dutt brings 16 years of firsthand dental experience and a passion for helping patients create beautiful smiles! She remains dedicated to creating a positive and comfortable dental experience for your child.

I would definitely recommend her for your children. She was very playful with him, made silly jokes to make him laugh and to make him comfortable. Dr. Car was also very pleasant with him as well. Best dentistry in the area. Will never take my son anywhere else.

On the first visit, they took their time and made him feel comfortable with the rooms and equipment. He was still a bit apprehensive but got adjusted very quickly. He now has no problem going. Every staff member treats us very positive and courteous. We will continue to take our children here, as it is by far the most kid (and parent) friendly dentist we have ever been to.
