BEWARE! The classes and instructors are great but their business practices are shady. They haven't been open long and already are receiving complaints on the Better Business Bureau-today I added mine. I have been emailing with the Manager of Club Pilates in East Chester. I advised them that I wanted to cancel my membership-it wasn't cancelled and I was told I didn't fill out the correct form and would still be responsible for the 7/16/25 payment. I submitted the form and have been charged for 8/16/25, 9/16/25, and 10/16/25. I do not live in this state any longer and haven't since July. Moreover, despite the charges, I am not having any credits added to my account-I still have the same 8 unused credits since July. I want my money refunded to the credit card on file immediately. I'll be updating this review routinely with the responses I'm receiving (or not receiving). Completely open to amending this based on the outcome. I'm expecting emails from the Manager and the BBB.

I just recently visited this location on Sunday for an intro class and Kim was awesome! The environment was very relaxing and nice! I do plan on getting a membership soon. They also introduce you to their app where you can easily book your future classes whether individually or packages. I will definitely be back!

I strongly advise against using their services. I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. The representative explaining the membership packages was unprofessional and made assumptions and comments without any knowledge. It was surprising to learn “that women are not allowed to serve in the military, only men”.

I submitted my cancellation request on August 28, 2025, while my account was on freeze. The studio is requiring me to pay a $99 monthly membership fee before processing my cancellation, although the $25 freeze fee has been paid and the account isn’t due to be unfrozen until October 5. I reviewed my contract carefully, and there is no language stating that a frozen account must be billed at the full membership rate during the cancellation period. I asked the studio for clarification in writing, but they have not provided a contract reference. They are relying on “policy” NOT stated in the signed agreement. I will be disputing any charges and filing complaints with the Virginia Attorney General’s Office and BBB because this practice does not appear to align with the signed agreement. I would encourage anyone considering a membership here to review the cancellation terms very carefully before signing. No where does it state you have to be active with a non frozen account in order to cancel.

I’ve loved Pilates for years, and always wanted to take reformer classes, but I like the flexibility of going to the gym whenever I want and was nervous about having to commit to a certain time slot. I have lupus, and never know how my body will feel, so was a bit skeptical. Membership can be cost prohibitive, but it’s an investment in my health and quality of life, and I’m worth it. I jumped in and took the intro class early this year and it’s been on ever since. It’s the challenge I know my body needs, but it doesn’t pound your joints. I’m leaner, stronger, more flexible, and I’ll be hitting my 100th class soon!! I do early mornings, so shout out to Jarissa, my primary instructor. That soft, calm, voice fooled me for a few weeks…don’t get it twisted, it’s 5 or 6 am, but she will WORK you! I’m with Jessica on Sundays for Center & Balance which is a nice stretch and reset for the week! She’s so talented, and I never know what she’s going to pull out of her bag of tricks. Adore her. And Kim is great, the little powerhouse she is. 10/10 highly recommend.
