I LOVED this office when i went to it for the first time, the doctors are wonderful, super caring to the kids which when dealing with kids is a huge bonus, so i cant say i have ANY issues there. My issues lie with their front office staff, they are RUDE. as someone who works in the same customer service industry it perplexes me that people who are not FRIENDLY are the initial contact made at most places. My sons father has taken him the last few visits, the 2nd visit they gave him a hard time because he hadn't been the person who brought him before, which, why that mattered i am NOT sure. It was mildly offensive at that time, and we just swept it under the rug. The time after was fine, no issues, this time we made an appointment for 8:30am and they couldn't see him because they couldn't verify the insurance based in Colorado ( its through his work), and the dental website although stated they were covered, didn't count as a verifiable source. They told him he needed to come back at 2pm, at that point they would be able to verify the insurance. We offered to just pay out of pocket, because he was already there- if you have kids you can understand why coming back with a toddler is not ideal. They said he could do that but wouldn't supply information on the potential cost- i do understand that they wouldn't know what insurance would cover etc, but this was just a cleaning, routine, he just wanted to know worst case, if there was no coverage what a cleaning would cost. In any case, this entire experience was awful. I called myself because i was flabbergasted and was basically told the same thing. We wont be back, which im sure they will carry on just fine, but it truly sickens me that they could treat people this way. I can understand that things arent always going to go as planned but the attitude of the front desk staff, or at least the woman i spoke with was rude, not understanding. I had her on speaker in my place of employment and even my co workers were surprised at her demeanor. Anyway, i hope changes are made, maybe training i dont know, because its a shame great doctors lose patients for things like this.
