I've never done counseling before, but this place has left a bad taste in my mouth. Their method of communication was frustrating and lacking. I felt like I was just a pay check for them. The counselor was vague and all together not helpful. I didn't agree with his method of counseling and showed up for my next session just to find out that he had discharged me. No contact, no explanation, just dropped and have a nice day. The counseling center didn't offer to set me up with another counselor, just have a nice day. Worse off than when I started. Highly recommend to find another location. My son has been seen at a different practice and totally different experience.

I saw a provider here in 2024 and paid the bills/charged my card at each visit. In 2026, two years later, they are now saying i owe them more money for those appointments. There's been no communication about those bills being unpaid or unprocessed by the health care company.
This company is offering no compromise or apology for the length or billing.
Take this as a lesson, they can bill you two years later for appointments you already paid for.
**UPDATE 3/3 - I followed up via the contact information shared from the owner below and no one ever responded. The contact information is for show.

I had to move practices they never answer the phone never can keep a provider I went through two different providers and they wanted to charge for a new patient appointment each time even though it ain’t my fault they can’t retain staff now they are billing me two years YEARS later for copays for appointments I’m not even sure are legit then when you contact the call center department which is the billing department they are less than helpful and when asking for proof the say they can’t provide my payment history and invoices for all of 2024 the year they want to charge me for YET they want me to pay these charges essentially blindly I paid once and was like it’s fine you know mistakes happen and now I have two more charge I got them to finally “send” me something the lady on the phone wasn’t very specific just said it was detailed or something to that affect and then I go to open it the link doesn’t even work…. Also they never do med refills unless u see the provider even if ur asking for a five day emergency fill they won’t fill it and the cancellation policy is BEYOND unfair they charge 140 something maybe even more than that I know it’s over 100 dollars for a missed appointment fee I love how I went here to better my mental health and they have made it worse due to their shady policy’s and lack of competency. Thank you so much for the help btw I was a client of 10+ years used to go to the old location that got tore down off battlefield ever since I came back it’s been nothing but a joke .
if you would like to read my more “professional review see below” I experienced challenges with my previous healthcare provider, including difficulty in maintaining consistent communication and provider availability. I transitioned to a new practice, but encountered billing issues, specifically being charged for appointments as a new patient despite previous attendance. Recently, I was billed for copays dating back two years, which raises concerns about billing accuracy and timeliness. When I contacted the billing department, I received limited assistance and was unable to obtain comprehensive payment history or invoices for the entire year of 2024, despite being asked to pay charges from that period.
Additionally, the process for medication refills requires an in-person consultation, even for emergency five-day supplies. The cancellation policy entails a fee exceeding $100, which I find to be quite unreasonable. My initial intention was to improve my mental health; however, these administrative policies and communication issues have negatively impacted my experience. I previously was a patient for over ten years at the original location on Battlefield, but since returning, my experience has been disappointing. Thank you for your attention to these concerns.

I've been a patient of Samuel Harris for a few years now, and it's a shame I haven't posted a review yet. The office is professional, welcoming and clean. The office staff are friendly and see to your needs in a timely fashion. The utilization of being able to text and use a patient portal has vastly improved response times. Sam is the best there is, hands down. He has done so much to help me, and I will forever be grateful to him. He's been a life changer. My daughter also sees Cynthia, who is fabulous as well. If you want to invest in your mental health, this is the place to go.
