We continually strive to provide quality dental health care while maintaining good relationships with our patients. We believe that educating our patients about their treatment plans and personal oral care practices is critical to providing quality services.
Dr. Burningham attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated in 2008. Upon graduation he found work in Radford, Virginia. He enjoyed his time working there and is grateful to those who mentored him right out of school.
After much deliberation he decided to leave his group practice in Radford and begin practicing as a solo dentist. He bought Dr. Larry McCoy's practice as he was retiring from practicing dentistry. He is excited to be here in Blacksburg and is especially excited to get to know his new patients.

- GWG. Ace WangAug 21, 20252.0I had good experiences for a number of visits but one visit left me with a terrible taste in my mouth. The staff is wonderful but Dr Burningham was incredibly rude and impatient when I needed an adjustment on a filling he had done (a sharp spot was cutting my tongue). He was impatient with my questions, visibly angry and took it personally like I was critiquing his work rather than needing an adjustment, called me difficult, told me to go to another dentist, and walked out on me. I was stunned by his actions. His staff was also visibly uncomfortable w how he interacted with me and kept saying “I’m sorry for that” and seemed very apologetic for his behavior. If a dentist can’t handle basic questions about his work, I wouldn’t trust doing more work there

Dr. Burningham and his staff are amazing! I had to have quite a bit of work done on my teeth but the staff made it as easy as possible. You won’t find a better dentist!
