- DSDevora St2 days ago1.0I took my son ( 6 years old ) to Little Diamonds Pediatric Dentistry for regular check up he ended up needing a cavity filling, and I am extremely disappointed with this visit. After the treatment, the filling was done so tightly that floss cannot pass through at all, which is not normal and should have been checked before we were sent home. My son also left with a painful blister/abrasion inside his cheek, which clearly happened during the procedure. Seeing him injured and uncomfortable after a dental visit is very upsetting. Another issue that really concerns me: the dentist who treated my son was NOT Dr. Dina or Dr. Zach, the doctors shown on the website. The last time we came, my son was seen by Dr. Dina, and he liked her — it was his first time, and it went well. This time, without any explanation, he was seen by a completely different doctor. As a parent, I want to understand why the same doctor could not see my son again, especially when he felt safe and comfortable with her. I am hoping the office takes responsibility for this experience, addresses these issues properly, and improves communication and care,especially when treating children.

We have been with Dr. Dina since my daughter was a year old (she is 5 years old now) and we always have the best experience every visit. My daughter actually looks forward to her appointments. They are always so kind, patient and thorough. They really know how to put help kids feel comfortable and everything in office is designed with kids in mind, from the waiting room to fun themed rooms and TV screens in every waiting room to help keep the kids distracted during cleanings and procedures. It also helps that we always leave with lots of little rewards and stickers for ‘doing a good job at brushing her teeth’.
